Terms & conditions

Effective date: 18 July 2026 · App: Citatum (Android & iOS) · Contact: app.citatum@gmail.com

Use of the app

Citatum is offered free of charge for personal, non-commercial use on devices you own or control, subject to the rules of the store you installed it from (Google Play or the Apple App Store).

Content

The quotes are public-domain historical texts, shown with attribution and offered for personal reflection; the wording of translations may be interpretive, and accuracy of attribution is not guaranteed. You may share the quote cards freely, including on social media.

Intellectual property

The app's name, design, icon and original artwork belong to the developer. Bundled typefaces are used under the SIL Open Font License; open-source components are listed on the in-app licenses page.

No warranty & liability

Citatum is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the developer accepts no liability for damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights that consumer law grants you and that cannot be waived.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the current version is always available at this address. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence.
